Dan Sultan’s ‘Killer’ LP debuts at #5 on the ARIA Album Chart

Dan Sultan’s fourth studio album Killer making its debut at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart this week. Killer was released on July 28 to widespread critical acclaim, with media and fans alike hailing it as his most ambitious and accomplished work to date.

As a thank you to his fans, Sultan has today unveiled a captivating live video for the album’s title track ‘Killer’. Filmed at Melbourne’s Meat Market with director Sunny Leunig the live video brings ‘Killer’ to life. “It’s about perhaps being a little bit obsessive about someone or something,” Sultan explains of the track.

Killer marks Sultan’s second time in the ARIA top 5 – his last album Blackbird debuted at #4 and earned the Melbourne artist the Best Rock Album accolade at the ARIA Awards in 2014. Killer has been nominated for the Best Album Award at the 2017 NIMA’s with Sultan also nominated for Best Video for ‘Magnetic’ and Best Song for his work with AB Original on ‘January 26’.

Next month will see Sultan hit the road on the Killer Album Tour playing some of his biggest venues to date across 11 metro and regional cities backed by his incredible band. He’ll also support Midnight Oil on their comeback tour in October at the Alice Springs and Darwin shows. Don’t miss Dan Sultan at his peak!
