Comprised of Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly, Something is their first album since their 2008 critically acclaimed Does You Inspire You. Both members have released exciting material over that time including Caroline’s collaboration with Washed Out (“You and I”) and Patrick’s production of NYC rap duo Das Racist?s album Relax. Something was written and recorded over 18 months between 2010 and 2011 in both the band?s hometown of New York as well as in London. Produced by Dan Carey (Kylie Minogue, Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip) and Chairlift, the album was also mixed by Carey, along with two tracks by Alan Moulder (Depeche Mode, My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails).
