Joe McKee

Joe McKee is a human that makes music for various reasons. Sometimes the music accompanies images that move. Recently he boarded a cargo ship near Hiroshima and crossed the North Pacific ocean. While aboard the ship he played it like a vast musical instrument. From these sounds he composed the score to a feature documentary film called Are The Green Fields Gone?. He tends to make music and sound installations from architecture. He collaborates with visual artists and other musicians. He also has a strange choir which he conducts. His music has been featured on various TV shows and movies. Some of which you may have heard of. Some of which, you most certainly haven’t.

Beyond all of this, Joe continues to make songs for himself, and releases them on his L.A. based record label, Babyrace Records.
