Raul Sanchez is a musician with over 25 years experience in the music industry. His professional career began as a guitarist with the multi ARIA nominated band Magic Dirt, and since then he has composed, performed and recorded music in acts such as Midnight Woolf, River Of Snakes and The Ape, touring both nationally and overseas.
Additionally, Raul is a recording producer, recording engineer and noise/soundscape artist. He has also released two solo albums and an Electronica EP.
His compositions have been featured on Australian TV sitcoms such as “Neighbours” and “Home and Away”, and advertisements (both locally and internationally).
Recently he has focused his eclectic and original creative drive to the film and animation worlds, scoring the music to the developing “Jan and Rai show”, the 52 episode Cartoon series “Monster Beach” (in production now), the feature film “Fags in the Fast Lane” (winner of a Gold award from the International Independent Film Awards for best soundtrack) and recently finishing the music for another feature length film “Undertow” collaborating with Lisa Gerrard and James Orr.
