Rob Amoruso is a Melbourne based songwriter / producer / mix engineer / multi-instrumentalist who is the guitarist & pianist for Jakubi. He has toured Australia over thirty times and the United States nine times, received triple J rotation play as a songwriter and musician in six different projects and his music has around 50 million streams across various music platforms.
Since signing to Epic Records in 2016, Rob has continued to refine his considerable skills writing, producing and mixing for other artists and recently started production and artist development company One House Music. He has worked with top-liners in a wide variety of diverse genres and Sessions including Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland and RnB star Macy Gray. He has also collaborated with several notable producers, such as Scott Storch, Eric Hudson, Chris Walla & Minneapolis royalty Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
Recently Rob was invited to Mushroom Publishing writing camp in Byron Bay alongside artists Isabella Manfredi (The Preatures), Hannah Joy (Middle Kids) and writer / producer John Ryan (One Direction, Pit Bull, Maroon 5, Chris Brown), as well as APRA AMCOS SongHubs in Melbourne curated by Chris Walla (Death Cab for Cutie, Tegan and Sara, The Postal Service).
Current projects include producing an album for Singapore artist Linying, writer / producer for Island Records new signee Mayah, and music writer / producer for Australian Channel 10 TV show ‘Behind The Sash’.
