Soulsavers

Soulsavers an English downtempo electronica, rock, gospel and country influenced group formed by the production and remix team composed of Rich Machin and Ian Glover.

The band released their first album ‘Tough Guys Don’t Dance’ in 2003 with Spain front man Josh Haden contributing vocals to a number of tracks. Their second album, 2007’s ‘It’s Not How Far You Fall, It’s The Way You Land’ saw the band’s profile grow thanks in part to a number of great album reviews and in part due to the collaborative addition of American singer Mark Lanegan and guest spots from Will Oldham and Jimi Goodwin (Doves).

Soulsavers third long player ‘Broken’ (2009) helped cement the bands reputation and received a fantastic critical response upon release. Once again Mark Lanegan joined the band as co-writer and primary vocalist, with further contributions coming from Will Oldham (Bonnie “Prince” Billy) Jason Pierce (Spritualized), Mike Patton (Faith No More), Richard Hawley and Gibby Haynes (Butthole Surfers).
