Formed in 2013, Void Of Vision took no time making a name for themselves in the Australian heavy music scene. The metalcore band, consisting of Jack, Mitch, Matt, George and James, caught national attention when they debuted the music video for their first single ‘Life // Blood’. Since then, Void Of Vision has taken the heavy music touring scene by storm, playing alongside the likes of Hand Of Mercy, Hellions. The Sweet Apes and Elegist and scoring 3 national tours by the end of 2014. On top of that, the band’s debut EP Broken // Bones (October 30, 2014) was released to critical acclaim and labelled Blunt Magazine’s EP of the Year.
2016 has been a huge year for the band, having kicked it off playing at the UNIFY Gathering, signing to UNFD and the announce of their highly anticipated debut album, Children Of Chrome. Children Of Chrome sees Void Of Vision doing what they do best: channeling their rage and discontent with the world through their honest music. Void Of Vision does not shy away from controversial matters and there are no issues left untouched on the album, from calling out all those who spread hate from behind their keyboards to spreading awareness of the mass slaughter of whales in the Faroe Islands.
Drawing their musical and lyrical influences from an array of artists including Parkway Drive, Architects, System Of A Down, Rage Against The Machine and many more, Void Of Vision has created a sound that is distinct and lyrics that are bound to have listeners questioning the current environment we live in.
